SOBRE LA PRESENTACIÓN / ON PRESENTATIONS:

1. La presentación se tiene que ajustar a 5 minutos. Talks must be 5 minutes long.

2. La presentación debe tener un resumen en formato word. Presentations must be previously sent in Word format.

3. La presentación puede tener un pequeño powerpoint auxiliar. En tal caso, y dado que las presentaciones se hacen a distancia, ese fichero se debe entregar al menos dos días antes de la presentación. Presentations can be complemented by a short auxiliary powerpoint. This file should be sent at least two days prior to the presentation.

4. La presentación puede ser en castellano o en inglés. Se anima a los doctorandos a que presenten en inglés. Presentations can be in Spanish or English. Students are encouraged to make their presentations in English.

5. El formato de la presentación es libre. Presentations are free-format.

6. Los alumnos de primer año centrarán su presentación sobre el desarrollo de su plan de investigación. First year doctoral students must be focus their presentations on the development of the Plan of Research.

7. Los alumnos de 2º año (o posteriores) se centrarán más en resultados relevantes de su trabajo o en los aspectos que consideran más valiosos de su investigación. Second year (or former) students must focus their presentations either on the most relevant results of their research or on the most valuable aspects of their work, according to their own criterium.

SOBRE LOS DESCANSOS / ON BREAKS:

1. Para los descansos los alumnos pueden aportar resúmenes gráficos de trabajos que ya hayan presentado en otros foros. Students can supply graphic summaries of works previously presented in other events.

2. Durante los descansos se proyectarán diapositivas con esos resúmenes gráficos. These graphic works will be exposed during breaks.

3. Se pretende con ello que los doctorandos tengan una idea general de los trabajos desarrollados en el programa y de su alcance. This exhibition is intended to give the students a general idea of the different issues addressed in the doctoral program.

SOBRE LA PRESENTACIÓN DEL COORDINADOR / ON CO-ORDINATOR’S PRESENTATION: 

Para esta primera edición de las jornadas se programa una única sesión de participación de profesores. En ella el coordinador desarrollará el tema “LA AUTORIZACIÓN PARA LA DEFENSA DE LA TESIS DOCTORAL: INDICADORES DE RESULTADOS Y OBJETIVOS FORMULADOS EN EL PROGRAMA DE DOCTORADO DE INGENIERÍA CIVIL SEGÚN RD 99/2011”.

For this first edition of EIDEIC only a keynote is programmed. It is in charge of the doctoral program’s co-ordinator and it will be focused on “THE ENDORSEMENT FOR THE DEFENSE OF THE PHD: RESULT INDICATORS AND GOALS COMMITTED IN THE DOCTORAL PROGRAM IN CIVIL ENGINEERING ACCORDING TO THE REGULATION OF RD 99/2011”.
